CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY: Classes in Cagayan de Oro City were suspended Wednesday as unconfirmed reports reached authorities that the Nipah virus has infected students and teachers in schools.
Audie Borres, assistant school superintendent of the Department of Education in Northern Mindanao, said a memorandum order was issued Wednesday afternoon to suspend classes.
