PH Red Cross, Rotary Club distribute wheelchairs to beneficiaries

WITH the support of Rotary International District 5170, Rotary District 3810 and the Wheelchair Foundation, the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and the Rotary Club of Manila 101 distributed a second batch of wheelchairs to 40 mobility-impaired Filipinos in Cavite.

'We at the Philippine Red Cross uplift people. We don't cascade help because the hands of those who hand down are at a higher position than the hands of those who receive assistance,' PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard 'Dick' Gordon said in Filipino.
