THE producers of the noontime show "E.A.T." apologized over host Joey de Leon's "lubid (rope)" statement on the September 23 Gimme5 segment, which received complaints for its connection to the topic of suicide.
The production voiced its side and apologized for the incident in a letter dated Sept. 25, 2023, sent to Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) Chairman Diorella "Lala" Sotto-Antonio and circulated on social media on Wednesday.
