Robert Mania of San Pablo, Isabela scored a crucial win over Ricky Echala of Santa Maria, Bulacan in the ninth and final round to claim the championship in the 10th Kamatyas FIDE Rated Invitational Rapid Chess Tournament at the FLDY Coliseum in Cauayan City, Isabela held on September 23-24.
