THE Department of Justice (DoJ) and the Commission on Elections (Comelec) are collaborating to put a stop to the long-standing problem of vote-buying and vote-selling during the polls.
Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla and Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia on Monday signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) that would effectively combine the resources and legal authorities of the two agencies in prosecuting vote buyers and sellers.
