Palay prices up 8.6% in July

THE average farmgate prices of palay (unmilled rice) increased by 8.6 percent to P19.38 per kilogram (kg) in July, the Philippine Statistics Authority said on Monday.

The latest data from the PSA showed the latest average palay price is higher than the P17.85 per kg average recorded in July 2022.
