THE Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) has affirmed its commitment toward green sustainability, targeting to implement environmental, health and safety programs in the country's economic zones (ecozones).

"According to Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., climate change is now an important criterion in our integral national policies, in planning, decision-making, up to the implementation of programs. The potential advantages of such enlightened policies extend to jobs and livelihood, with the unlocking of the development of the green and blue economies," said PEZA Director General Tereso Panga following the China-Asean Expo roundtable discussion on investment cooperation program in Nanning, China.
