Gilas leaves for Hangzhou, prepares for Bahrain

Following a whirlwind week of player adjustments, Gilas Pilipinas leaves for Hangzhou, China on Sunday, September 24, still hopeful that the 'crammed lessons' from interim coach Tim Cone will somehow be enough to prepare the national team for the 19th Asian Games.

The national team spent its final day of practice on Saturday, giving the four replacements— CJ Perez, Chris Ross, Kevin Alas and Arvin Tolentino— an extra day to go through the system.
