Key findings from the recently unveiled State of Cybersecurity Asean report said that Malaysia and the Philippines led the Asean region in cybersecurity incidents this past year.
At a media briefing held last week, global cybersecurity solutions provider Palo Alto Networks (PANW), which released the report, said that a significant 29 percent of organizations in the Philippines reported a surge in increasing by 50 percent or more. Particularly in the spotlight are operational technologies (OT) integral to critical infrastructure, which have faced a heightened risk of attacks compared to other sectors.
