Marcos: New factory in Cavite to generate 5K jobs

GENERAL TRIAS, Cavite: More than 5,000 direct and indirect jobs await Filipinos following the inauguration of Unilever's new factory in the province, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said Friday.

In his speech during the inauguration of Unilever's new Beauty & Wellbeing and Personal Care Factory, Marcos said the new plant will cater to both domestic and export demands of its products with a target of nearly 90,000 tons of various personal care products for hair and skin to be manufactured and distributed annually.
