PhilHealth probes security breach

THE Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) is investigating a security breach on Friday when a ransomware group called Medusa made the data from PhilHealth users available online, with an alleged ransom for US$300,000.

In a statement by PhilHealth president and chief executive officer Emmanuel Ledesma, the agency implemented 'containment measures.'
