Bangko Sentral chief: More rate hikes likely

MONETARY authorities are not done hiking its key interest rates and a likely increase in November might not be the last for the current tightening cycle, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) Governor Eli Remolona Jr. said on Friday.

'We're not convinced it [rate hike] would be the last one. It won't be the last hike in the cycle,' Remolona said in an interview with Bloomberg.
