DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development Secretary (DSWD) Rexlon 'Rex' Gatchalian on Wednesday advised the Disaster Response Management Group (DRMG) to quickly dispatch family food packs (FFPs) and other relief items to flood-affected areas in Mindanao.

Gatchalian issued the order after receiving a letter from the provincial government of Maguindanao del Sur asking for help and assistance from the department to meet the needs of the families affected by the major flooding that occurred on Sept. 17, 2023, in 12 municipalities in the province.
