957 Vizcaya seniors receive social pension

DUPAX DEL NORTE, Nueva Vizcaya: Around 957 senior citizens not covered by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) social pension program have received their social pension from the local government unit (LGU) here.

Mayor Timothy Cayton said the senior citizen recipients are those who are not receiving the DSWD social pension either because of limited slots or were disqualified with an allocation of more than P2.71 million cash subsidy for the senior adults for this year's third quarter.
