HSBC: PH a top choice for international firms

INTERNATIONAL businesses aiming to set up shop or expand in emerging Southeast Asian markets see the Philippines as a primary destination, Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corp. (HSBC) said.

Nineteen percent of companies already operating in the country intend to focus on expanding within the next two years, the bank's Global Connections survey found.
