Obiena grabs silver at Diamond League

FILIPINO pole vaulter Ernest John 'EJ' Obiena is now focused on the upcoming Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, after claiming silver in the Eugene Diamond League finals in the United States over the weekend.

At Eugene's Hayward Field, Swedish-American Armand Duplantis continued to dominate the tournament, setting a new world record by clearing at the height of 6.23 meters.
