SEN. Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa has introduced Senate Resolution 796 directing the Senate Committee on Public Order and Dangerous Drugs to look into the alleged presence and operation of a shabu laboratory and a heavily armed private army of extremist groups in Surigao del Norte.
Dela Rosa said that on September 7 his office received a letter containing a resolution from the mayor of the Municipality of Socorro, Province of Surigao del Norte, requesting an investigation into the alleged operation of the shabu laboratory and the presence of a heavily armed private army dubbed "Agila," supported by extremist groups in Southern Mindanao.
