Cybersecurity talent shortage a major risk

Despite the government's proactive efforts to promote digital adoption, Trend Micro Philippines Country Manager Ian Felipe emphasized the importance of addressing the persistent shortage of cybersecurity talent in the Philippines.

"As cybercriminals adapt and attack with increasing speed, scale and sophistication, there is an urgent need for Filipino enterprises and individuals to embrace digitalization safely by fortifying their defenses against rapidly evolving cybercrimes," Felipe told The Manila Times on Tuesday.
