Lucena unveils own Emergency 911

LUCENA CITY: The Lucena City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (LCDRRMO) has just unveiled its newest program, the Emergency 911, becoming the first local government in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) to do so.

City DRRMO officer Janet Gendrano said in an interview on Thursday that it took them more than a year before the 911 National Office under the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) gave them the Go Live Certificate.
