CHR starts probe on Libon killings

LEGAZPI CITY: The Commission on Human Rights has started its probe on a series of killings in the municipality of Libon to uncover the perpetrators and put them behind bars, CHR Bicol director Arlene Alangco said.

The CHR's probe is also in response to the appeal of Albay 3rd District Rep. Fernando Cabredo on the commission to set it, said Alangco who added that their office is already investigating and coordinating with the Philippine National Police (PNP) regarding the spate of killings in Libon.
