Lowry named Jets captain

VETERAN forward Adam Lowry has been named captain for the Winnipeg Jets, the team announced on Tuesday.

Lowry, 30, spent his entire National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Jets, having been drafted 67th overall by the team in 2011.
