AS the Philippines celebrates National Peace Consciousness Month this month, key officials from the government, academia, religion, media, women groups, and youth groups are set to fly to South Korea on September 17 to attend the 9th anniversary of the HWPL (Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light) World Peace Summit.
HWPL, an international peace non-government organization in special consultative status with UN Ecosoc, is expecting about 1,800 global leaders to participate in the event set for four days starting September 18.
