GENERAL SANTOS CITY: Around 2,000 police officers from Soccsksargen will be deployed in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to assist in the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on October 30, said Philippine National Police (PNP) regional director Ben. Allan Nobleza on Tuesday.

Nobleza said the police officers will be trained to serve as election precinct workers should there be a peace and order problem preventing the public school teachers from serving in the polling places during election day in the various polling precincts in BARMM.
