PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Wednesday urged foreign investors to consider the Maharlika Investment Fund (MIF), which he said was designed to further drive economic development in the Philippines and ease its "borrowing woes."

Marcos made a pitch for the MIF during his talk at the Milken Institute's 10th Asia Summit in Singapore, where he invited businessmen "to explore the Philippines as a destination for investment."
