Students of the Light of the World Christian Academy of Makati (CAM) welcome School Year 2023-2024 in a fun and fulfilling way. Besides being reunited with their old friends, the students from grade school and high school, administrators, teachers, and other personnel participated in the CAMaraderie celebration on Aug. 22 and 23, 2023. This year’s theme, ‘Onward and Upward,’ is anchored on the Bible verse from Philippians 3:14: ‘I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.’ CAM is an integrated educational institution with K to 12 program anchored on Biblical principles and Christian leadership. For more than 19 years and through the pandemic, CAM has been envisioned as the ‘home of Godly leaders’ since it was founded in 2004. The school is the brainchild of renowned dermatologist Dr. Vinson Pineda, who has since passed on his vision to his daughter, Dr. Angela Pineda. She is recognized as the new president of her father’s endeavors.
