DA scores importance of FMRs

THE Department of Agriculture's Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (DA-BAFE) emphasized the significance of farm-to-market roads (FMRs) to food security.

DA-BAFE Director Ariodear Rico said that the agency is developing a program in cooperation with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda), Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) for improved maintenance of FMRs.
