Student killed in jeepney crash

ZAMBOANGA CITY: An overloaded public utility jeepney crashed on a downhill curve in Zamboanga del Norte, killing one passenger and wounding dozens more.

The accident happened in the village of Paniran in Sibuco town with the driver saying he lost his brakes and crashed his jeepney carrying over 30 passengers, mostly students from Malayal National High School, according to the municipal government.
