Teodoro justifies refusal of soldiers to fund pension

DEFENSE Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. justified the active soldiers' refusal to contribute a portion of their salary to fund their pension because they risk their lives as soon as they entered the military.

Teodoro stressed this on Wednesday when asked why it was difficult for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) personnel to contribute to their pension.
