BEIJING: China's outstanding yuan-denominated loans rose by 1.36 trillion yuan (about $188.63 billion) in August, central bank data showed on Monday.
The amount saw a sharp rise from 345.9 billion yuan reported in July and was 86.8 billion yuan more than that seen in August last year, according to the data from the People's Bank of China (PBOC).
