Peso slips, PSEi up slightly

The peso dipped against the dollar and the stock market marginally rose at the start of the trading week.

The currency weakened by 6 centavos to P56.69 versus the dollar while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index gained 10.80 points or 0.17 percent to 6,233.74.
