SECRETARY Benjamin "Benhur" Abalos Jr. of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) on Sunday said that majority of cases filed in court are drug related.At the launching of the "Buhay Ingatan, Droga'y Ayawan" (BIDA) Program held at Bulacan Sports Complex, City of Malolos, Abalos said that most inmates are facing drug charges.
"Ang matindi yun nakalaya na mula sa sintensiya, ang bumabalik sa kulungan ay almost 30 percent. 'Yan ang nakalatag na problema sa atin (Worse, those who have served their sentences, 30 percent of them return to drugs. That is the problem before us)," he said.
