(UPDATE) RICE retailers at the Agora Market will not be charged for their stall rental for September, San Juan City Mayor Francisco Javier 'Francis' Zamora said over the weekend.

Zamora made the announcement during the distribution of the P15,000 financial aid from the Department of Social Welfare and Development to rice retailers affected by the imposition of the rice price cap. Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual and San Juan local government unit (LGU) officials witnessed the Agora Market financial aid distribution to the affected retailers.
