Germany captures first-ever FIBA World Cup crown

Dennis Schroder came through in the clutch to power Germany to an 83-77 win over Serbia and to its first-ever FIBA Basketball World Cup gold medal at the Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday, September 10.

Schroder and the Germans thus swept the competition at 8-0.
