Wage hike for Calabarzon workers OK'd

TRECE MARTIRES CITY, Cavite: The Regional Tripartite Wages Productivity Board (RTWPB) has approved a wage increase in the Calabarzon Region, affording some 2 million wage and salary earners in the region a daily increase of P35 to P40.

The workers are expected to experience the said increase starting September 24 this year, amid the rising cost of goods and services.
