SAN MIGUEL, Bulacan: At least 113 soldiers from the First Scout Ranger Regiment (FSRR) of the Philippine Army (PA) and the First Royal Australia Regiment of the Australian Army began their third series of the Philippines-Australia "Kasangga" Exercise during opening ceremony held at Camp Simon Tecson in San Miguel, Bulacan on Monday.
Col. Isagani Criste, regiment commander of FSRR, said that the exercise is aimed at enhancing the capabilities of the FSRR in multiple crucial domains such as Urban Combat Training, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Breaching Techniques, Urban Sniping and Counter-Sniping, Combat Tracking and the Joint Logistic Planning Subject Matter Expertise.
