Peso snaps decline; PSEi slips back to 6,100 level

The currency gained 15 centavos to close at P56.79 versus the dollar, while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) shed 58.62 points, or 0.94 percent, and settled at 6,183.07.

The broader All Shares also declined, dropping 21.26 points, or 0.63 percent, to 3,346.99.
