Nidec expansion in Subic to generate 5,000 jobs

SUBIC Bay Freeport: More than 5,000 jobs will be offered as Nidec Subic Philippines Corp. expands its operations here at the country's premier freeport.

This was disclosed by Nidec President Takeshi Yamamoto in a simple awarding ceremony of the certificate of registration (COR) with incentives under the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (Create) Law to Japanese company Nidec Subic Philippines Corp. for its P4.2-billion expansion project.
