THE Philippine National Police (PNP) has directed its operatives to assist government agencies in implementing the mechanics of the price cap on rice issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. last Monday.

Col. Jean Fajardo, acting PNP Public Affairs Office head, said policemen will be deployed in the perimeter of public and private markets to monitor and supervise government inspectors.
