(UPDATE) FILIPINO and Malaysian troops will hold naval exercises off eastern Mindanao on Friday to hone their skills and enhance their readiness to respond to challenges.
The series of exercises on the eastern flank of the country, bordering Malaysia, was dubbed MalPhi LAUT 24/23. Opening rites were held at the headquarters of the Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao (NFEM) in Davao City last Monday.
