ASEAN SUMMIT: Harris, Marcos review 'opportunities' to boost maritime cooperation

US Vice President Kamala Harris, in her meeting with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., highlighted the role the US-Philippines alliance plays in ensuring a free, open and prosperous Indo-Pacific.

Harris met with Marcos at the sidelines of the US-Asean (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit in Jakarta, Indonesia, the White House said in a statement on Wednesday (Thursday in Manila).
