Thrift bank industry thriving

THE country's thrift bank industry has weathered difficulties arising from digitalization and continues to grow in terms of assets, the Chamber of Thrift Banks (CTB) said on Wednesday.

'Despite external challenges, the industry has managed to not only maintain its stability but also achieve substantial growth across various crucial metrics,' CTB President Cecilio San Pedro said in a statement.
