The Philippines bowed to China, 1-6, in the bronze medal game for a fourth place finish at the Under-18 Women's Softball World Cup Championship that ended last weekend at the Pingtan Softball Stadium in Fujian Province, China.
The loss meant that the Cebuana Lhuillier-backed team missed out on the three available slots for the U-18 Women's Softball World Cup scheduled in 2024.
