DTI boosts Isabela cacao industry

ILAGAN CITY: The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) distributed cacao livelihood kits to beneficiaries in three Isabela towns, namely Ramon, Echague and Jones, to boost the cacao industry in the province.

DTI Region 2 information officer Manilyn Ponce said the qualified beneficiaries are those who have undergone the recently held Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) on cacao farming training.
