Village and youth elections as microcosm of Philippine politics

THE race is on. The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has announced that more than 1 million candidates filed their certificates of candidacy (CoCs) for the upcoming Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) on October 30. This will be for the village and youth leaders all over the land.
