Senate panel OKs OVP confidential fund

VICE President Sara Durterte said the Office of the Vice President (OVP) 'can live without' the confidential and intelligence fund (CIF), as the Senate approved, at the subcommittee level, the OVP's proposed P2.385 billion budget for 2024.

Duterte, who is also Education secretary, on Monday attended the Senate finance subcommittees A's and D's hearings on the proposed budgets of the OVP and the Department of Education (DepEd).
