THE Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) on Monday said it had started a crackdown on text blaster machines that are being used to send text messages to a series of mobile phone numbers.

DICT Undersecretary Alex Ramos said that text blast machines are usually connected to a computer or laptop.
