3 Luzon dams release water

THREE major dams on Sunday started to release water before reaching their spilling levels, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Pagasa hydrologist Richard Orendain told The Manila Times that one gate of Ipo Dam was opened past 6 a.m. Sunday after reaching its normal high water level (NHWL) of 101 meters.
