Italy downs Puerto Rico, makes first World Cup quarterfinals appearance in 25 years

Italy took down Puerto Rico, 73-57, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Sunday, September 3 in the second round to make its first FIBA Basketball World Cup quarterfinals appearance in 25 years.

Italy improved to a 4-1 win-loss card, ensuring a top two finish in Group I.
