SEN. Cynthia Villar has vowed to continuously do what is necessary to protect and expand the country's coconut industry amid the continued export boom of the product.
During the 3rd World Coconut Congress 2023, held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on Friday, Villar, chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Food and Agrarian Reform, said, "We are aware that our work doesn't stop here as we continually monitor the implementation of relevant laws [in the industry]."
