Hanna gains strength as it heads for Taiwan

TYPHOON 'Hanna' has continued to intensify as it moves toward the east of Taiwan, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday.

As of 4 p.m., the center of the eye of the typhoon was estimated at 375 kilometers east-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
